Nicky Catterwell:
Nicky began flute aged seven and continued lessons through Kent Music School. At the age of 18 she took up the Cello as a second instrument to help further her studies.

After graduating from Canterbury Christ Church University, Nicky continued flute studies with various teachers including Kate Hill and Jon Cherry.

Harry Cook:
Harry is an eclectic musician, playing Double Bass and Sousaphone with a number of Jazz Bands in Kent and South London. Working closely with K-L Music Services, he has played with British Jazz legends Don Rendell and Jim Hastings Harry Beckett and many more.

Classically, he plays Baritone Saxophone with Jasmine Music and for the Canterbury Orchestra and Paul Booth's experimental Harbour Jazz Orchestra he plays Bass Trombone.

As a Bass Guitarist, he plays with the Function Bands "Good Up Front" and "Intonation". A Bass Trombone/Tuba specialist Harry also teaches other Brass instruments and beginner Woodwind. Harry is Musical Director of the Hythe Town Concert Band.

Mandy Cook:
Mandy started to learn brass aged seven and went on to specialise on French Horn, which she has played a for over twenty years.

After studying horn under Nick Morgan and trumpet under Paul Edlin at Canterbury Christ Church University, Mandy is now an experienced brass teacher.

As well as the Jasmine Quartet, Mandy performs professionally with the Ramsgate Operatic Society and is principal horn with the Canterbury Orchestra.

Peter Rose:
Peter is a professional jazz and classical musician. As a former principal clarinet of the Royal Marines Staff Band at the Deal School of Music, he is a versatile performer on clarinet and saxophone.

Currently, Peter is very busy as musical director of the Beverley Big Band and also plays in the Bill Barnacle Jazz Band.

As an experienced retailer and instrument repairer, Peter runs the Unison Music Company in Canterbury.

Rachel Stickels:
Rachel began saxophone and piano lessons at secondary school and from a young age, was involved in various bands and performances.

After gaining her music degree at Canterbury Christ Church University, Rachel has combined her interest in teaching with an active musical career.

As well as instrumental teaching in the Canterbury area, Rachel rehearses with local bands and, as well as Jasmine, rehearses her own saxophone quartet who perform across Kent.
